Grape Creek ISD Outdoor Classroom/Community Park (Click Here For More Information)
The Grape Creek Independent School District is excited to announce the current construction and future opening of a new outdoor playground and community park located at the corner of Grape Creek Road and Wren Road across from the Grape Creek ISD Elementary Campuses. The date for the playground to be opened to the public is pending due to future construction plans for a bathroom facility and outdoor classroom pavilion. The goal at this time is to have everything ready at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year.
The outdoor classroom/community park facility is owned and maintained by the Grape Creek Independent School District. However, recognizing the tremendous need for a facility such as this for the community and our families, the district has worked very hard to develop this facility toward functioning as a community park outside of school hours for our community to enjoy and utilize as well. The district is pursuing the addition of other amenities outside of the fenced area, such as a walking path, landscaping, and possibly backstops and soccer goals.
